Corona Virus Community Help…

With self isolation on the rise it is great to think of community spirit being on the rise too. We are looking to bring you news of community help to your doorstep in the bullet points below…if your company is offering community help e-mail [email protected] to be included.

* In the Allington area of Maidstone if you need help getting shopping or prescriptions due to coronavirus then please ring St Nicholas Church 01622 297307 or e-mail [email protected] who are happy to help.

* Place to Place taxi company (Tel: 01622 791500) are offering to pick up shopping for those with Corona Virus in self isolation. Their Facebook page outlined ‘All elderly, vulnerable or incapacitated people in the ME6, ME19 & ME20 postcodes – if you have nobody to help you or if you are too worried about Corona Virus to go to the shops, please let us know and we will arrange for one of our drivers to do your shopping and bring it to you free of charge’.

‘We are going to do a daily run on week days to assist as many people as possible, so if anyone needs anything please let us know by 12:00 each day by calling 01622791400 or 01732871234.’

* If you work with a public service group in the community in need of hand gel dispensers then the local company ‘jennychem’, who manufactures hand gel, are looking to give out free hand gel wall dispensers and sanitiser bottles to 20 public service groups in the community so if this applies to you or where you work then email [email protected]
