New ASK Italian to open in Maidstone

ASK Italian is to open a brand new restaurant in the centre of Maidstone The new restaurant is due to open 2nd April on Earl Street.

General Manager Hanna Byrom is looking forward to opening the doors to the new restaurant, which will be open daily from 10am for breakfast, brunch and an all-day menu of smaller dishes. This will be alongside the a la carte menu, all served in a relaxed dining space with a view into an open kitchen area for a touch of chef theatre. The 188-cover restaurant will reflect the brand’s distinctive Milanese-inspired look, with a splash of local inspiration. A beautiful courtyard of 20 covers will allow diners to dine al fresco in the heart of Maidstone.

ASK Italian’s menu features classic Italian dishes created from the finest Italian-sourced ingredients – buffalo mozzarella from Campania, extra virgin olive oil made especially for ASK Italian from family olive groves in Puglia, and passata di pomodoro from Emilia Romagna. Mains feature pasta, risotto and pizza dishes – including a range of decadent fresh egg pasta dishes dressed with special ingredients from lobster to Italian Luganica sausage. There are also meat and fish dishes inspired by regional Italian specialties, including ‘pork belly porchetta’ – a Tuscan classic: slow-roasted, meaty pork belly in a herbed red wine sauce.

ASK Italian Managing Director, Jason Thomas, says, “We’re delighted to be opening a restaurant in Maidstone, and are excited to have found a site in the heart of such a thriving community. We’re looking forward to bringing the ASK Italian recipe of authentic dishes, warm service and fresh design to the town”. ASK Italian has also been hiring locally, creating 30 new jobs as a result of the upcoming opening.
