CaseWare’s Annual Charity Cup at the Gallagher Stadium
The football season may now be over, but the tournament that everyone is talking about is taking place closer than you may think. Local company CaseWare UK Ltd are hosting their annual charity football event on Sunday 19th July and this year it is set to be even bigger and better.
Taking place at Maidstone FC Gallagher football ground, the 7-a-side tournament is all for a good cause. The event has been organised to raise as much money as possible for The KSS Air Ambulance and The Guide Dogs, CaseWare’s chosen charities for 2015. On the day, 16 teams will take to the pitch to compete for the CaseWare trophy.
Each year the staff at CaseWare all nominate and vote for two charities that they would like to raise money for that year. Throughout the year the team organise various internal charity and social events, with funds raised being split equally between the two charities.
Supporters from the public are welcomed for just a £1 entry fee per person and the event will be family friendly with the chance to meet the Guide Dogs themselves and be there for a special flying visit from the Air Ambulance’s very own ‘Doctor Dudley’! There is a bar for refreshments and a raffle with great prizes, including a signed football shirt from Gillingham FC will be held in aid of the charities.
CaseWare’s charity committee leader Bex Moreland explains “Last years’ charity football tournament was a great success, with us raising over £695 for our chosen charities. This year, we have decided to go even bigger with 16 teams taking part, made up of a number of our clients, as well as our very own CaseWare team. We are overwhelmed with the support we have received so far to raise money for our chosen charities and expect the day to be a huge success in raising even more.”
The teams joining CaseWare this year in the tournament are:-
Baker Tilly, UHY, CCW, Reeves McIntyre Hudson, Magee Gammon, Henry Reeves, Creaseys, Spurling Cannon, Burgess Hodgson Chaverey, Gary Sargent & Co, MWS, Williams Giles and McCabe Ford Williams.
