Half Term Fun for the Family – Kent Life Heritage Farm
Pull on your wellies and get ‘Out and About’ this February half term at the award-winning Kent Life Heritage Farm Park, near Maidstone.
There’s a fun-packed week of activities in store from February 14 to 22, including trails and animal encounters, donkey rides and daily animal feeding times.
Set in 28 acres of glorious countryside, Kent Life is also a real working farm, so there are plenty of animals to see including pigs, sheep, ducks, goats and alpacas.
Kids can get creative in the Paint-a-Pot Studio, take a tractor ride, meet some smaller furry friends in Cuddle Corner, whiz around the track on a quad bike, and go wild in the large indoor soft play area which has three floors of fun to explore. There’s plenty to do.
Wander through period dressed historic buildings in the charming Vintage Village; explore the gardens and orchard; ramble along the wildlife discovery trail; and see the last remaining coal-fired oast house in Britain.
Dotty’s Tea Room will be serving up a range of tasty treats from the special winter warmer menu, including soups, jacket potatoes and homemade cakes.
Kent Life is in Sandling, near Maidstone, just off junction 6 of the M20 or only an hour by train from London. Tickets cost £5.70 adults, £4.50 children (age 3-15), £5.10 concessions.
