The Kent County Show this Weekend!
Anyone in the Maidstone area can not fail to notice the Kent County Show will be on from Friday-Sunday this weekend (8th-10th July).
Always a fixture in the local calendar, this show has grown to epic proportions since it was established in 1923 – encompassing every country activity imaginable and more besides.
This year sees a full range of entertainment and as expected includes livestock and cattle shows, riding horse championships and pony rides alongside attractions such as Peppa Pig and Tractor Ted for the little ones, chainsaw wood carving, a spitfire display, beehive demonstrations, birds of prey, tug of war, parade of beagles, badger bush craft, gardeners question time, one man band, a bandstand with full itinerary, pole climbing, young farmers club, the heavy horse village, K9 Aqua fun for your dog and the new attraction of pig racing for 2016 – you name it you can catch it here!
With a whole host of stalls selling fresh local produce, giving awareness to charitable organisations and companies giving you some great deals there is a packed itinerary which can sustain the whole family.
